Welcome to the Women's History Network of British Columbia Blog

WHN/BC supports the initiatives of members and others interested in promoting women's history in B.C. and by British Columbians.

WHN/BC has as members archivists, teachers, professors, writers, genealogists, students and others interested in the field of women’s history.

WHN/BC’s yearly conference, during Canada’s Women’s History Month in October, is an opportunity for networking, sharing and learning about new ideas and current research into women’s history.

WHN/BC is a provincially registered non-profit society, incorporated in 1996, and is a member of the British Columbia Historical Federation and the Canadian Committee on Women’s History.
